How we accomplish this is by first identifying the needs of each student, then incorporating the proper principles necessary to help each student master the instrument while also finding their own unique voicing in the process. Principles taught at Pine Music Academy vary widely depending on the student, integrating both foundational skills such as correct posture, proper finger techniques, and music theory (note reading, understanding note values, learning chord progressions) to advanced skills such as ear-training, mastery over note articulation (staccatos, arpeggios, ornaments) and much more. All this is conducive to developing students who are not only masters of this craft, but who also find their distinctive sound. We also provide composition, songwriting, recitals and much more!
